Josh Allen outplays Lamar Jackson in the second half

It was a disastrous start for Josh Allen this week as he would throw an interception on the team’s first drive of the day. The throw wasn’t entirely his fault as it was tipped at the line but it seemed like even from that point the Bills’ quarterback couldn’t get the offense into any sort of rhythm in the first half.

Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson looked like he was on his way to another big performance, even with the weather. He was making key plays for his offense converting long third downs, throwing and running the ball, and keeping the Ravens on the field.

However, as the game went along the momentum shifted back to the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen was the one making the key plays down the stretch. The Bills’ quarterback finished the game with 213 passing yards, one passing touchdown, and one interception but also added 70 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown.

Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson struggled late in this game with interceptions on Baltimore’s final two offensive drives. While one is hard to blame him for, as this was tipped at the line by defensive tackle Prince Emili, the other came in the end zone at a point where the Ravens had a chance to take the lead.

Both players are going to be in the MVP discussion for most of the season but if it is close, it is fair to point to the head-to-head matchup and today Josh Allen was the better quarterback.
