5 storylines to watch for the Buffalo Bills in Week 3 against the Dolphins
How do the Buffalo Bills handle the short week?
The Buffalo Bills had an extended break between their first game of the season against the Rams and then the latest on Monday night against the Tennessee Titans. While the break was nice, there is now the downside of having to play on a short week.
The challenge for the Bills is how to do they handle an injury report that seems to be rather lengthy at this point. The Bills had three players miss the game against the Tennessee Titans (Ed Oliver, Tim Settle, and Gabe Davis) and their availability this week is up in the air.
In addition to those three, the Bills had players leave the game against the Titans with injuries, the most notable being Dane Jackson. The starting cornerback suffered a scary neck injury but all indications are that he has avoided a serious injury.
The Bills also saw Mitch Morse, Matt Milano, Micah Hyde, and Jordan Phillips all leave at different points of the game due to injuries. On Tuesday, Sean McDermott didn’t provide many updates on these injuries and said it was too early to tell about the trajectory for game status for this week, according to The Buffalo News’ Katherin Fitzgerald.
The team will release their first practice injury report on Wednesday which should help provide some clarity based on practice participation.
