The Buffalo Bills are preparing for their first divisional game of the season when they play the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. It is a short week for the Bills after playing on Monday night and unfortunately has a rather lengthy injury report after practice on Wednesday.
The first practice of the week was a walkthrough but had four players who did not practice. That group included cornerback Dane Jackson, safety Micah Hyde, tight end Dawson Knox and defensive tackle Jordan Phillips.
Dane Jackson and Micah Hyde both are dealing with neck injuries and both players were transported to the hospital on Monday night for further evaluation. The good news was that both were released and it will be worth watching if either is able to get in any practice time, even if it is on a limited basis over the next two days.
Jordan Phillips suffered a hamstring injury in the third quarter against the Titans and did not return. Meanwhile, Dawson Knox appeared to injure his foot early in the game but was able to finish the game.
Buffalo Bills had five more players limited on Wednesday
In addition to the four players who did not practice, the Bills had an additional five players who were limited on Wednesday. That group included wide receiver Gabe Davis, defensive tackle Ed Oliver, defensive tackle Tim Settle, center Mitch Morse, and safety Jordan Poyer.
The limited status is actually good news for Davis, Oliver, and Settle as all three missed Monday night’s game and they appear to be trending in the right direction. As for Mitch Morse, he hurt his elbow on the opening drive and after getting an x-ray was able to return to the game.
As for Jordan Poyer, he was able to finish the game on Monday night but appears to have suffered a foot injury.
Finally another positive from this report is that Matt Milano was a full participant after leaving the game early due to a stinger on Monday night.

5 free agents the Buffalo Bills should consider signing before Week 3
The Buffalo Bills have one of the best rosters in the NFL but there is still room for improvement and these are three free agents they should consider.
