Linebackers
The Buffalo Bills linebackers are not necessarily known for those ‘splash’ plays on defense. However, in this game against the Tennessee Titans both Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano had big plays.
The first was Tremaine Edmunds who in the first half came on a blitz and recorded the first sack of the game for Buffalo. He would finish the game with only two tackles but both of those tackles were for a loss, and he added a pass defended to go along with the sack.
As for Matt Milano, he had only three total tackles but had an impressive pick-six in the third quarter that ultimately sealed the win for Buffalo. He almost had a second one on the very next play, this time with Malik Willis in at quarterback for the Titans, but the pass fell to the ground.
The Bills defense as a whole never really allowed the Titans to do much on offense as they only had 53 total plays all game. It was the performance of Edmunds and Milano that really helped in this regard.
