If Tim Settle actually does miss this game, and with Oliver already ruled out, this only leaves two defensive tackles on the active roster. The Buffalo Bills typically rotate three or four during the course of the game and this means they are almost certainly going to call up one or two defensive tackles from their practice squad.

The most likely candidate is Brandin Bryant, who has been with the team since September of last year when he was added to the practice squad. He would appear in two games last year and had two tackles and one QB hit.

The Bills brought Bryant back this offseason and he had an excellent preseason to the point that he probably would have made the 53-man roster if it wasn’t for the depth the team already had at the position.

This week now gives Bryant a great chance to show he belongs on the active roster and can contribute.

Unlike Phillips, Brandin Bryant is more of that run-stuffing defensive tackle and his skill set will be valuable this week against Henry and this Titans’ offense.
