Buffalo Bills Week 2 Bold Prediction: Bills have more rushing yards than Titans

There is no question that the most talented running back in this game is Titans’ running back Derrick Henry. He led the league in rushing yards and touchdowns in 2019 and 2020 and almost certainly would have done it again last year if it wasn’t for a foot injury that cost him half the season.

He was able to return in the playoffs against the Bengals but had only 62 rushing yards on 20 attempts. Fast forward to last week in the game against the New York Giants and the former All-Pro didn’t look much better as he had only 82 rushing yards on 21 carries.

This week, the Titans are going to continue to give Derrick Henry the ball and he almost certainly will get around 20 carries. However, the Bills’ defense looked significantly improved against the run in Week 1 and is better than the Giants’ defense.

Meanwhile, the Bills’ offense is likely in a much better matchup this week as the Titans defense struggled against the Giants, particularly defending Saquon Barkley on the ground who had over 160 rushing yards. It will be a collaborative effort from Devin Singletary, Zack Moss, and Josh Allen but this week the Bills should finish with more rushing yards than the Titans.
