Will Christian Benford remain the starter?

The Buffalo Bills elected to have Christian Benford start in Week 1 against the Los Angeles Rams. This was a surprise since Kaiir Elam was listed as the starter but the team decided to go with the other rookie cornerback for that game.

Benford played well and didn’t do anything to necessarily lose the starting spot but the coaching staff may elect to give Elam the start. When considering both players almost split the snaps against the Rams it may not matter as much who starts in this game.

The rotation at this position is one that will likely remain fluid until Tre’Davious White returns but Week 2 could provide some more clarity on how the Bills approach the position until the former All-Pro returns.
