Buffalo Bills are the favorites in the AFC to go to the Super Bowl

The Buffalo Bills were considered one of the top contenders in the NFL this year to win the Super Bowl. In Week 1, they only cemented that claim with the way they took the game over in the second half against the Rams.

While there are 17 weeks left in the NFL season, the Buffalo Bills should be considered the clear favorite to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.

The AFC this year had a number of teams that realistically is talented enough to win the Super Bowl. However, Week 1 was a letdown for some of those teams like the Cincinnati Bengals (who lost to the Steelers), the Colts (who tied the Texans), and the Chargers who snuck by the Raiders.

The one team that probably looked equally as impressive as the Bills was the Kansas City Chiefs, who went on the road and beat the Cardinals 44-21. However, I give Buffalo the edge as the Rams are the defending Super Bowl champions and the Cardinals are a team that has consistently under-delivered on expectations.

While other teams are certainly going to be in the discussion, and it is a long season, the AFC once again looks to be shaping up to be a two-team race for a trip to the Super Bowl.
