Buffalo Bills have a Top 5 defense without Tre’Davious White

Last year, the Buffalo Bills finished first in the league in a number of categories on defense like yards allowed and points against. While they were able to accomplish this feat without Tre’Davious White for the final six regular season games, it always seemed to come with an asterisk because of the offenses the Bills played last year.

This season, the Bills entered the season in a similar position as the end of last year as Tre’Davious White is not going to be available to start the season. The game against the Rams was supposed to be a good test for this defense as Los Angeles with Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, and Sean McVay calling plays was one of the top offenses last year.

However, the end result was more of the same from last year as the Bills held the Rams to only 10 points and under 300 yards. They were able to do it with an inexperienced group of cornerbacks and losing Ed Oliver due to an ankle injury for over half of the game.

This is one of the top defenses in the NFL right now without Tre’Davious White and will only get better once he returns.
