Stefon Diggs

Similar to Josh Allen, wide receiver Stefon Diggs is one of the more consistent players in fantasy football. Last year, Diggs had seven or more targets in 15 of the 17 regular season games, had less than four receptions in only one game, and less than 50 receiving yards in only three games.

However, in each of those games in which he had less than 50 receiving yards, he found the end zone at least once.

In this game, Stefon Diggs will likely be going against Jalen Ramsey, one of the best cornerbacks in the league. The two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver should not be expected to have a big game but if he can find the end zone, he should be able to finish the week among the Top 12 wide receivers.

Projected Week 1 Finish: Low-end WR1 if he scores a touchdown

Gabe Davis

One of the most popular breakout candidates this offseason was wide receiver Gabe Davis. The excitement around the third-year wide receiver moved him draft boards and it makes sense.

Davis is now the unquestioned number two wide receiver in a high-volume passing offense with an elite quarterback in Josh Allen. Over the past two years when he has gotten to be a starter, he has produced and has 13 touchdowns on only 70 career receptions.

Whether the Rams put Troy Hill or David Long on Davis in coverage, he should have an advantage. If Josh Allen limits some of the targets going to Diggs, then Gabe Davis would be the beneficiary and has the chance to produce as a WR2 this game.

Projected Week 1 Finish: Upside WR2

Isaiah McKenzie

There were some questions about whether or not Isaiah McKenzie would be ready for Week 1 after recently suffering a groin injury but he appears set to play on Thursday night. It certainly would have been disappointing if he missed this game as the speedy wide receiver has looked great during training camp and the preseason.

McKenzie now steps in as the slot receiver and replaces Cole Beasley, who has been a steady fantasy football wide receiver during his time in Buffalo especially the past two years with over 80 receptions both years.

If McKenzie sees the same volume of targets, he could outproduce what Beasley did the past few years because he has more speed and should be able to pick up more yards per reception.

Projected Week 1 Finish: Borderline WR3/WR4
