Von Miller’s return to Los Angeles to face his former team
One player who almost undoubtedly is going to have mixed emotions on Thursday night is defensive end Von Miller. The reason is that Miller was a big part of the Rams’ success last year and played a big role in helping them win the Super Bowl.
However, this year Miller is standing on the other sideline as part of the visiting team and preparing to face his former teammates while the Rams lift the Super Bowl banner he helped get.
After practice on Sunday, Miller was asked how it might be to play against his former team. He described it as playing against your brothers but at the end of the day he wants to win:
"“I love those guys that we won Super Bowl 56 and that’ll always be there. Those will always be my teammates but at the same time I’m on the Buffalo Bills now and I want to create some of those same memories with my new teammates now.”"
The Buffalo Bills brought in Von Miller in hopes that he could help transform the pass rush. This will be the first opportunity for fans to see the former All-Pro take the field in a Bills uniform. Hopefully, he can have the same impact he did with the Rams on this defense.
