5 position battles still undecided for Buffalo Bills entering Panthers game

Brandin Bryant vs. Eli Ankou vs. Prince Emili

Another battle that may only be a battle if the Buffalo Bills create an extra spot is at defensive tackle. The Bills have their Top 4 decided at the position (Ed Oliver, DaQuan Jones, Tim Settle, Jordan Phillips) but they may want to have a fifth player at defensive tackle due to their game-day strategy of rotating along the defensive line.

If the Bills do elect to keep five, then it is likely a three-player battle for that final spot. Brandin Bryant and Eli Ankou would probably be considered the favorites as both have been with the team previously.

Brandin Bryant has had a really good preseason to date and made noticeable plays in both games. As for Ankou, he only recently returned after beginning training camp on the PUP list but made an immediate impact with a sack against the Broncos.

Prince Emili, who was an undrafted free agent addition, has also made plays in both preseason games. He is an under-sized defensive tackle that is more of a pass rusher but could be a good fit behind Ed Oliver.
