Another position that is unsettled is who will be the tight end behind Dawson Knox and see snaps when the Buffalo Bills are in two tight end sets.

O.J. Howard would appear to be the favorite because of his experience and also releasing him would create over $2 million in dead cap, according to Spotrac. He also had his best performance to date last week against the Broncos with three receptions, 16 yards, and one touchdown.

However, one strong game doesn’t necessarily solidify his spot on the 53-man roster and he is going to be competing with Tommy Sweeney and Quintin Morris for that spot.

While Sweeney hasn’t done anything that has stood out, Quintin Morris is an interesting player to watch against the Panthers. In the two preseason games, he has made some noticeable plays, like a 29-yard diving catch against the Colts. He also was on the field with the starters last week against the Broncos.

Quintin Morris doesn’t match up to Howard or Sweeney, in terms of run blocking but as a pass catcher, he is probably their best option behind Knox at the position.
