Daniel Joseph

The defensive end position is another one that is deep and Daniel Joseph may be the odd man out. In the first preseason game, Joseph had three tackles and a sack but also had two costly penalties that included a low block on a play where Prince Emili had sacked Nick Foles for a loss of 17 yards.

That one play was over a 30-yard swing in the favor of the Colts.

He would be on the field again on Saturday against the Broncos but register only one tackle while playing on 22 snaps.

The biggest determining factor for whether or not Daniel Joseph is part of this round of cuts is Kingsley Jonathan. The former Syracuse defensive end is dealing with an ankle injury after a promising first preseason game.

He didn’t play against the Broncos due to this injury and if he is unlikely to be available on Friday against the Panthers, this could limit the depth the team has at the position. This means that Daniel Joseph likely wouldn’t be part of this round of cuts.
