Case Keenum looks much better against the Denver Broncos

In the first preseason game, Case Keenum had an ugly performance that included three turnovers. It is a game he will probably want to forget and move on. His performance on Saturday will certainly help that as he was nearly perfect against the Broncos.

After the opening drive, the Bills kept the starting offense out there but swapped Allen for Case Keenum. This was likely to just give him some live game snaps with the starters in case the need were to arise during the season where Keenum would need to step in for the Bills’ starting quarterback.

Keenum would drive the team 80 yards on eight plays for their second touchdown of the game. He would finish the game by completing 16 of 18 passes for 192 yards and one touchdown.

The Buffalo Bills were never going to find a quarterback that can do what Josh Allen does as his backup but a veteran like Case Keenum is the perfect player to back up Josh Allen with his experience. This game should give fans confidence that Keenum can get the job done if necessary this year.
