The preseason games are pivotal for players on the roster bubble and with the Buffalo Bills electing to play most starters on Saturday, it means those players on the bubble are going to see their opportunities significantly decrease from last week’s game against the Indianapolis Colts.

There are a number of players on the roster that need to have a good game or they could be part of the next round of cuts for the Buffalo Bills.

Which Buffalo Bills are on the roster bubble entering the game against the Denver Broncos?

The first player is one that might not be able to control his chances of making the 53-man roster, no matter how good he plays against the Denver Broncos. The position battle at punter is most likely already over after Matt Araiza had a good game against the Indianapolis Colts and is probably the rookie’s job to lose.

Matt Haack in the first preseason game did get a chance to punt and had a good kick. While it only went 38 yards, he showed off his accuracy and pinned the Colts back at their 12-yard line.

However, the Bills committed to Araiza when they drafted him and he is the long-term solution for the position. I would imagine the team decides to commit to the rookie sooner rather than later.
