How does the offensive line play?

The offensive line has been a work in progress the past few weeks due to injuries and absences during training camp. However, the Bills have been getting healthier recently and it appears to be trending towards the starting five that many expected earlier this offseason will be ready for Week 1 against the Los Angeles Rams.

The question is which players in this group (Dion Dawkins, Rodger Saffold, Mitch Morse, Ryan Bates, Spencer Brown) are going to play in this game on Saturday. The one player that probably has the biggest question mark is Brown, as he has been slowly ramping up the workload during training camp due to an offseason back procedure. However, he did miss practice this week and the coaching staff likely will err on the side of caution.

If Brown is not able to play, then David Quessenberry should get the start. The former Tennessee Titans offensive lineman has been a mainstay with the starters in place of Brown and has played well in his place. If the Bills are able to have the other four players along with Quessenberry, it will be interesting to see how they play, particularly in the run game.
