Cam Lewis

Cam Lewis has been with the Buffalo Bills the past two years after signing as an undrafted free agent in 2020. He would spend most of that time on the practice squad but in both years have been called up and appeared in games.

In 2020, Lewis would play in five games with two starts and then last year played in seven games. In total, he has 13 career tackles, one pass defended, and one fumble recovery.

This season, it seemed like he might have a good chance of making the 53-man roster from the start. He would be competing with players like Christian Benford, Nick McCloud and Olaijah Griffin for that spot but has the most experience and did provide versatility as he can play inside or outside corner.

Lewis seemed to be on his way early in training camp to get that spot but recently it has been Christian Benford playing well, even getting time with the first team in practice, according to Sal Capaccio of WGR550. Entering the preseason, Benford looks like the favorite and Cam Lewis once again could be one of the final cuts before the season.
