Starting offensive line practice together for the first time

The offensive line has been without a number of players during the course of training camp but on Wednesday the Buffalo Bills had their expected starting five together for the first time at St. John Fisher University.

According to Jon Scott with Spectrum News, today was the first time that Dion Dawkins, Rodger Saffold, Mitch Morse, Ryan Bates, and Spencer Brown were together during team work.

For most of the training camp, the Bills were missing Rodger Saffold as he suffered rib injuries from a car accident prior to training camp. However, Saffold came off the NFI list earlier this week and has been able to practice.

The other player who has been missing from team activities has been Spencer Brown. He is trying to get back to full strength after a back procedure earlier this offseason and has been practicing almost every day but has been limited to individual work and has been slowly ramping up to being part of the team work.

While it would have been ideal to have all five from the start of training camp, the fact that they should have about a month of practice together should be enough time to get up to speed in time for the start of the regular season.
