Isaiah McKenzie
Over the past three years, Cole Beasley has been a sneaky good player to have in fantasy football. He is a reliable pass catcher that seemed to be guaranteed for five receptions, 50 yards, and the occasional touchdown each game.
The Bills have replaced Beasley with Isaiah McKenzie, who entered training camp in a battle with Jamison Crowder for the starting slot receiver spot in this offense. That battle seemed to end before it really got going as Crowder missed practice due to an injury and McKenzie has had a fantastic training camp and has impressed his teammates, like Josh Allen.
The reason that McKenzie has the chance to be that star and surpass what Beasley has done is that he has great speed and elusiveness that will help him pick up more yards after the catch.
The game last year against the Patriots is a perfect example as he replaced Beasley and had 11 receptions, 125 receiving yards, and one touchdown. In that game, the Bills had McKenzie running deeper crossing routes and further down the field to try and capitalize on that speed.
This is something the Buffalo Bills should continue this year and with the fact that he has an incredibly low drop rate, McKenzie has a chance to be a factor in fantasy football this year.
