Pro: Adds depth for the Buffalo Bills on the outside

The first pro is an obvious one as the addition of Odell Beckham Jr. would solidify the outside wide receiver position. When healthy, he can be an impact player that takes games over, as he showed in the playoff run with the Rams last year.

The Buffalo Bills currently have Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis as their outside wide receivers but don’t really have a clear option behind them to step in if the need were to arise. The Rams showed last year how valuable that depth was because shortly after signing OBJ they would lose Robert Woods for the season due to an injury.

Another reason this could make sense for the Buffalo Bills is that Odell Beckham Jr. showed he is willing to not be the top wide receiver in the offense. During his time with the Giants and Browns, he would regularly see double-digit targets. However, with the Rams, he was able to be that compliment but was ready to take over when the matchup warranted it.

It is better to have that option already on the roster in case the need arises versus trying to find that option if they suffer an injury at some point during the season and are forced to sign or trade for a replacement.
