Last year, Josh Allen was sacked only 26 times, which is tied for the second-lowest total among quarterbacks who played 15 or more regular season games. While the mobility and athleticism from Allen certainly helped, the Buffalo Bills’ offensive line deserves a great deal of credit for the way they were able to protect Allen for most of the season.

This season, the offensive line will be tested as there are a number of good pass rushers on their 2022 schedule. This is a closer look at the Top 5 pass rushers the Buffalo Bills will face this season.

player. 47. . . . Matt Judon. 5

The New England Patriots signed Matt Judon as a free agent to a four-year, $54.5 million dollar contract last offseason after consecutive Pro Bowl seasons with the Baltimore Ravens. He continued that strong play in his first year in New England.

Judon once again would make the Pro Bowl but this past year he turned QB pressures into sacks. In his final three seasons with the Ravens, Judon averaged 25 QB pressures per season but only averaged only 7.5 sacks per season.

In his first year with the Patriots, Judon finished with 25 QB pressures but saw his sack total jump to 12.5 sacks. He started off the year very strong as all 12.5 sacks came in the first 12 weeks of the season but struggled down the stretch as he had only one QB pressure and no sacks in the final four regular season games.

If Judon is able to play a full season the way he started the year, he will be a tough player to stop for any team.
