More shuffling on the offensive line

The Buffalo Bills have seemingly been forced to shuffle their offensive line each practice with the news that Rodger Saffold suffered a rib injury in a car accident before training camp and then trying to slowly work Spencer Brown back after he missed all offseason workouts.

On Wednesday, the Bills were without Ryan Bates who is dealing with an injury and the team decided to go with a starting lineup of Dion Dawkins, Greg Mancz, Mitch Morse, David Quessenberry, and Tommy Doyle according to Heather Prusak.

It is interesting that Cody Ford was not with the starters today as he was the starting guard in place of Saffold in the first practice. Ken Dorsey did say that the shuffling of the offensive line is due in part to injuries but also to look for the best starting five.

This begs the question of if the Buffalo Bills already believe that Ford is not going to be in that group. He was a player that entered training camp on the roster bubble and if this is the case then he might be a player who is cut or traded before the start of the year.
