Jordan Poyer is in attendance with contract discussions continuing

The Buffalo Bills have a number of starters entering training camp on the final year of their contract. One of those players is Jordan Poyer, who has been looking for a new deal since earlier in the offseason.

He would not participate in the voluntary workouts but was in attendance for the mandatory minicamp. Once again Poyer did not hold out and was in attendance for the start of training camp but was accompanied by his agent Drew Rosenhaus.

This is certainly notable as it appears the two sides are trying to work something out but it remains to be seen exactly what the resolution might be. Jordan Poyer has made it clear that he wants to remain in Buffalo and has been a big part of this defense.

However, Brandon Beane must balance what Poyer brings to this team and how to fit him, along with players like Dawson Knox, Devin Singletary, or Tremaine Edmunds, under the salary cap with new deals past this season.
