Jordan Phillips

Buffalo Bills fans should be familiar with this next player as Jordan Phillips had a breakout season with the team in 2019. He originally joined the team during the 2018 season after he was waived by the Miami Dolphins and claimed by the Bills.

That final season with Buffalo, Phillips would play in all 16 games while starting nine and have career highs in total tackles (31), sacks (9.5), tackles for a loss (13), and QB hits (16). That sack total would lead the team that year and in the past two years, no player has been able to match that.

Jordan Phillips left in free agency after that season and signed with the Arizona Cardinals. However, he never was able to make the same impact due in part to injuries in both years.

He returned to Buffalo this offseason after being released by the Cardinals and the hope is that he might be able to bounce back now in the defensive scheme that he had such success only three years ago. The Buffalo Bills almost completely changed the defensive tackle position this offseason and Phillips should play a big role on the defensive line this season.
