How much will Tre’Davious White participate in training camp?

One of the big questions this offseason is whether or not Tre’Davious White will be ready for the start of the season. The former All-Pro cornerback suffered a torn ACL at the end of November against the New Orleans Saints.

For most of the offseason, the Buffalo Bills have not given a timeline on when Tre’Davious White might be ready to return. However, they have sounded cautiously optimistic and according to Joe Buscaglia with The Athletic Brandon Beane said last month that training camp will give them a better idea of just how far away White is from returning.

If Tre’Davious White is not ready at the start of training camp, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the team place him on physically unable to perform (PUP) list. If the team does this at the start of training camp, he wouldn’t be available to practice but could be taken off the list at any point.

If White remains on the list at the start of the season, he will be forced to miss at least four games. However, this year there was a change to the rule as it was lowered from six weeks.

There has been plenty of questions about Tre’Davious White’s potential return and the Buffalo Bills will likely have an answer very early to this question.
