Stay or Go? Projecting the future of the Buffalo Bills 2023 free agents

Dane Jackson
Dane Jackson will hit restricted free agency in 2023 after three years with the team. Jackson might be the best run defender out of the Bills current corner group. In his two years, Jackson has done a pretty admirable job rotating into the lineup and even making some spot starts.
Jackson is a dependable corner that knows the Bills system and can provide them with valuable depth. I would imagine that Dane would price between 2-2.5 million on the open market, and at that price, I think the Bills should match and keep him around.
Verdict: Keep him as long as his price remains reasonable
Ed Oliver
Ed Oliver finally broke out in 2021 and was one of the Bills most disruptive defenders throughout the season. The Bills picked up Ed’s fifth-year option, which will keep him on the team for at least the next two seasons, but negotiations on an extension will likely begin next spring.
An interior pass-rushing presence like Oliver is tough to find, and the Bills should do everything they can to keep Big Ed in Buffalo.
