The next player in these rankings looking at the Top 25 players who are 25 and under is cornerback Cam Lewis. He joined the Buffalo Bills in 2019 as an undrafted free agent after playing college football at the University of Buffalo.

Over the past two seasons, he has been a player that has been firmly on the roster bubble coming out of training camp. He hasn’t made the roster either year but has been brought back on the practice squad and does get called up a few times for a few starts.

In the past two years, he has started three games due to injuries and in total has appeared in 12 games. He has the versatility to play outside but his best position is inside at slot corner. So far in his career, he has 13 total tackles, one pass defended, and one forced fumble.

Is this the year Cam Lewis starts the year on the Buffalo Bills’ 53-man roster?

Entering his third season with the Bills, Cam Lewis finds himself in familiar territory as he once again is on the roster bubble. However, as the roster currently stands he has probably his best chance to make the 53-man roster from the start.

The depth at cornerback has some serious questions and after Tre’Davious White, Kaiir Elam, Dane Jackson, and Siran Neal, it is a wide-open competition between Lewis and second-year players Olaijah Griffin and Nick McCloud.

The fact that Lewis has more experience than the other players along with his ability to be a backup both outside and in the slot should help his chances this year. The Bills really don’t have a clear backup to Taron Johnson and with how important the position is to this defense it would make sense to have a backup they trust to step in if the need were to arise.
