After having his 2020 season cut short due to injuries, Joe Mixon bounced back last year and was a big part of a Bengals offense that emerged as one of the best in the league. Mixon finished the regular season with career highs in rushing attempts (292), rushing yards (1,205), and rushing touchdowns (13).

He also made an impact through the air with 42 receptions, 314 receiving yards, and three receiving touchdowns.

Similar to Nick Chubb, Joe Mixon is another running back that typically doesn’t go down at first contact and in two of the past three years, Mixon has had 20 or more broken tackles. In addition, Joe Mixon does an excellent job protecting the football and in 1,068 touches over the past four years he has only three fumbles.

The challenge for the Bills when they face the Bengals in Week 17 is that they are going to have to worry about the passing game with Joe Burrow. They can’t afford to sell out to stop the run and this is a game the Bills are going to need more from their defensive line from stopping Joe Mixon as he approaches the line of scrimmage.
