The best quarterback that the Buffalo Bills will play this season is one that they know well in Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. This year will be the fifth time that the Bills’ have played Mahome since 2020.
In the prior four games, including two playoff matchups, Mahomes has thrown for 1,200 passing yards, 10 touchdowns, and only two interceptions. The Chiefs also have a 3-1 record over the Buffalo Bills in those four games.
Patrick Mahomes hasn’t been a problem just for the Buffalo Bills as he has been almost unstoppable for most defenses in the NFL. Last year, he threw for 4,839 yards with 37 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. In fact, in three of the past four years, he has thrown for over 4,700 passing yards and 37 touchdowns.
In the AFC Divisional Game last year, Patrick Mahomes was able to magnify some of the issues of the Bills’ defense as he was able to elude the pass rush and was able to attack a secondary that struggled without Tre’Davious White.
