C. . RB. Buffalo Bills. MATT BREIDA

Contract: 1 year, $1.055 million

The Buffalo Bills knew last offseason that they needed a running back to help in the passing game and one that was better in this area than Devin Singletary and Zack Moss. The hope was that Matt Breida would be the answer as the team signed him to a one-year deal.

However, Breida didn’t really see much playing time over the course of the year to make enough of an impact. When he did get a chance to play significant snaps he was very effective.

Last year, Breida would play in nine games but only had 15 or more snaps in two of those games. In those games, the veteran running back had 77 rushing yards, 45 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown.

This begs the question of why the Buffalo Bills coaching staff didn’t have Matt Breida be a bigger part of the offense. The lack of snaps played a major role in this grade but if he got a chance to play more, this could have been a much better free agent signing.
