The Buffalo Bills already have a good group at defensive end but this is one position that which the Bills can’t have too many good players. The Bills rotate frequently at this position during the course of the game so having depth here is critical.

Among the defensive ends in the USFL, Chris Odom with the Houston Gamblers has been by far the best player at that position this season. He currently leads the USFL in sacks with 11, as well as seven tackles for a loss and six forced fumbles in only nine games.

Odom has spent a number of years in the NFL but has primarily been a practice squad player but has played in 11 career games after seven in 2017 with the Green Bay Packers and then four in 2019 with Washington. That season with Washington he also had two sacks and one forced fumble.

This is a position that the Buffalo Bills don’t necessarily need to address but adding more depth certainly couldn’t hurt.
