The Buffalo Bills had one of the best teams in the NFL last year but that didn’t stop general manager Brandon Beane from trying to find ways to improve the roster. They added a number of free agents and rookies to give the team the best chance of putting together the best 53 players for the upcoming season.

While the Buffalo Bills wouldn’t add anyone they didn’t believe couldn’t help them, there are times where those players don’t make the final roster. These are five new Buffalo Bills who have a chance to be released before the start of the season.

The Buffalo Bills signed Greg Mancz early in free agency back in March to a one-year deal. At the time, Mancz looked to be a good depth option for the interior of the offensive line as he has experience both at guard and center.

However, since that signing the Buffalo Bills have added David Quessenberry and recently Greg Van Roten. These two players, along with Cody Ford, are expected to compete with Mancz for likely two spots on the 53-man roster.

While none of the four are guaranteed a spot on the final roster, the other three players have more experience than Mancz and he probably has an uphill battle to a roster spot this summer.
