The Buffalo Bills will be playing their first game of the 2022 season in less than 100 days when they face the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams to kick off the new season.

This year looks to have the potential to be a special season for the Bills with the improvements made on defense this offseason to complement an offense that already was one of the best in the NFL with Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs.

While the season is still a little over three months away, let’s make some predictions for the upcoming season for the Buffalo Bills.

Buffalo Bills Bold Prediction #1: Devin Singletary runs for over 1,000 rushing yards

The first bold prediction is that the Buffalo Bills are going to have a running back break the 1,000-yard mark in a season for the first time since 2017 when LeSean McCoy had 1,138 rushing yards.

This season, Singletary is in a great position to be the next running back to surpass that total after what he showed at the end of last season. In 2021, Singletary had a career-high 870 rushing yards and averaged just over 51 rushing yards per game however it wasn’t really until Week 14 that the Bills tried to commit to the run game with Singletary getting double-digit carries in six of the final seven games.

The Buffalo Bills shouldn’t deviate from that this season and he should get double-digit carries almost every week. If Singletary is able to improve his per game average just seven yards to 58 yards per game, he would surpass 1,000 rushing yards this season.
