The next player comparison was actually Tim Cornett, who came out of UNLV in 2014 but he never played in a regular season game so it is tough to look at that comparison. After Cornett though is former Arizona Cardinals running back Andre Ellington.

Ellington is slightly shorter than Cook at 5’9″ but both players came out of college at 199 pounds. Both players had almost identical 10-yard splits with Cook .01 seconds faster and also had the faster 40-yard dash by .19 seconds.

When looking at Ellington’s career, the Cardinals used him similar to what the Buffalo Bills are expected to. In his first two years, Ellington had 85 receptions on 121 targets for 766 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns.

Those first two seasons would be his best as he had over 2,000 yards from scrimmage and nine total touchdowns. However, he struggled after that point in his career as he saw his snap counts drop significantly and he played his final year in the league in 2017.
