The last time Von Miller was on a football field was in SoFi Stadium as he was celebrating a Super Bowl victory with the Los Angeles Rams. The former All-Pro pass rusher’s next game is scheduled to be in the same stadium but this time as a member of the Buffalo Bills.

The defending AFC East champions are scheduled to play the opening game of the 2022 season as they face the Los Angeles Rams on the night they will be raising their Super Bowl banner inside their stadium.

Buffalo Bills vs. Los Angeles Rams is a great game to start the 2022 season

The opening game is saved for the defending Super Bowl champions and last year it seemed like the Buffalo Bills had a good chance to be the opponent in that game. The team had the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on their schedule but the NFL ultimately decided to go with the Dallas Cowboys as the opponent.

This year, the NFL did not overlook the Bills and this should be a great matchup between two good teams and potentially a Super Bowl preview for later in the year. The Rams are expected to be one of the top teams in the NFC with Matthew Stafford, Aaron Donald, Cooper Kupp, Jalen Ramsey as well as the addition of Allen Robinson in free agency.

As for the Buffalo Bills, they are a popular choice to represent the AFC as they are led by Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, Tre’Davious White, and their new free agent addition, and former Los Angeles Ram, Von Miller.

There will be plenty of storylines to talk about over the next few months leading up to the Buffalo Bills matchup with the Los Angeles Rams. The NFL made an excellent choice to start off the year with an exciting matchup.
