Buffalo Bills Round 3 (Pick 89): Cordale Flott, CB (LSU)

With the Bills’ third-round pick, I decided I wanted to add another cornerback to the room, and with a bunch of solid cornerbacks left, this one was hotly contested. I feel like the Bills can bank on serviceable play from Dane Jackson and Taron Johnson, so I decided to gamble on the prospect with the most upside.

Cordale Flott has good speed and is tall with excellent length, and he has long arms that are ideal for his position. He has athletic upside but stands 6 foot 2 and weighs just 170 pounds; he needs to gain some weight. The Bills have one of the best weight rooms and training facilities in the NFL, so if anyone can help Flott fill out his frame, it would be the Bills. Additionally, this pick probably makes Tre’Davious White very happy as he gets another LSU guy in the cornerback room.

While it may seem like an upside play, Flott is also good right now. Across 347 coverage snaps in 2021, he only allowed 249 yards.
