Buffalo Bills’ Wide Receiver Prospect No. 2: Skyy Moore, Western Michigan

The next receiver is one that could pair even better than Treylon Burks would with Stefon Diggs, and that receiver is Skyy Moore.

Not only that, but the Bills are also allegedly interested in Moore.

In his 2021 season, Moore accumulated 1,291 yards and 10 touchdowns, and while it was against a lower-level opponent more often than not, his accolades are still impressive nonetheless.

Now, one thing to note is that this season was quite the breakout year for Skyy Moore. Not to say that it can’t be recreated, but it is important to note that this could’ve been a season where he set expectations too high.

Skyy Moore career season-by-season stats

  • 2019: 86 targets, 51 receptions, 802 yards, 3 touchdowns
  • 2020: 36 targets, 25 receptions, 391 yards, 3 touchdowns
  • 2021: 125 targets, 94 receptions, 1,291 yards, 10 touchdowns

So, while 2021 was a bit of an outlier of his career at Western Michigan, that doesn’t mean Skyy Moore can’t be good in the league. It’s just a reminder to not get distracted by the new, shiny thing, in this instance, that new, shiny thing is Skyy Moore getting three more targets in 2021 than he had in 2019 and 2020 combined.

With Stefon Diggs on the outside, Josh Allen and Skyy Moore could build a great relationship in the middle of the field.

However, the biggest question is whether Moore will be available at Pick No. 57. It’s not out of the realm of possibilities, but the likelihood isn’t through the roof. A lot of teams seem to have an interest in Moore, so it might be a battle for Skyy Moore on Day 2.

Two receivers down, three to go. Can you guess who’s next?
