WR Tre Walker, Pittsburgh Maulers

Tre Walker is tied with Ahmad Gooden for the shortest tenure as a Buffalo Bill when he was released only eleven days after signing. Walker was signed after the 2021 draft but released when the Bills added fellow USFL receiver, Lance Lenoir. The Bills are the only team Walker was signed to in the NFL during the 2021 season.

CB Isaiah “Ike” Brown, New Orleans Breakers

Ike Brown is perhaps the most unique story of former Bills in the USFL. Brown was signed as an undrafted free agent after the 2020 NFL Draft. Brown was not likely to make the roster and was fighting for a spot on the practice squad when he suddenly retired towards the end of training camp. Brown told Jay Skurski of the Buffalo News that “I fell out of love with actually playing (football) it”.
