5 Buffalo Bills who could dominate in Olympic Flag Football
Micah Hyde
The final player who would dominate in flag football at the Olympics is safety Micah Hyde. Since joining the Buffalo Bills in 2017, he has become one of the top safeties in the NFL alongside Jordan Poyer and in five seasons has 14 regular-season interceptions and 35 pass breakups.
Hyde does a good job of playing that deep safety that can cover ground quickly. There is not a better example than the playoff game against the New England Patriots where he made this remarkable interception.
The play recognition and closing speed were elite on this play and Micah Hyde would be able to bring that to flag football. If Micah Hyde is playing that deep safety, teams would have trouble throwing those deep passes and trying to beat him over the top.
While flag football is certainly a different type of game, these are four players who have an excellent skill set that would translate very well and would be great additions to the Olympic team.
