Buffalo Bills Draft Target: Andrew Booth Jr., CB (Clemson)

The cornerback position is the Buffalo Bills biggest need and while Sauce Gardner is the best in this year’s class, he likely will be drafted in the Top 10, possibly Top 5. This could be too much of a jump for Buffalo but there are a few cornerbacks who could go in the middle of the first round that general manager Brandon Beane could target.

One of those players is Andrew Booth Jr. who has played in 21 games the past two seasons with Clemson. He has 49 total tackles and five interceptions during that stretch.

Booth Jr. would be a great fit on this defense opposite Tre’Davious White and has a lot of what the Bills look for from players at this position. He is versatile in that he has the ability to play both man and zone but as the scouting report on The Draft Network notes he has room to improve in zone coverage.

However, it also describes a player that is “an aggressive and enthusiastic tackler”. The Bills tend to value those types of cornerbacks and that is why this is a player they may want to trade up for.
