2019: Josh Allen’s touchdown reception against the Texans
Later that season, the Buffalo Bills would find themselves in a matchup with the Houston Texans in the Wild Card Round. The Bills got out of a fast start and drove down the field on their opening drive.
In the red zone, offensive coordinator Brian Daboll dug into his bag of tricks and once again turned to John Brown to throw a touchdown. However, this time the ball went to quarterback Josh Allen, who caught it behind the line of scrimmage and had to juke out one defender on his way to the end zone.
The play would start out with a fake handoff to Devin Singletary with John Brown running behind the line of scrimmage. Allen would flip the ball to Brown who would stop and turn to throw it back to Allen.
The Bills ultimately would come up short but fans got a glimpse of what Josh Allen could do in the playoffs.
