Buffalo Bills’ Offensive Line

Starters: Dion Dawkins (LT), Rodger Saffold (LG), Mitch Morse (C), Cody Ford (RG), Spencer Brown (RT)

Backups: Tommy Doyle (OT), Greg Mancz (G/C), Jacob Capra (OG)

On the offensive side of the ball, the offensive line is the one that has gone through the most changes and probably has more on the way. The Bills released former starters Jon Feliciano and Daryl Williams with question marks still around Ryan Bates and Ike Boettger.

Bates is a restricted free agent and recently signed an offer sheet with the Chicago Bears. If the Bills do not match that offer, then Cody Ford is the player most likely to step in at right guard for this team. The former second round pick as a rookie played well but has struggled as of late and it would be surprising if Buffalo didn’t look to bring in more competition there.

The Bills also will need to add more depth as they currently only have two backups and have typically had nine or 10 offensive linemen on the 53-man roster. It would not be surprising to see the Bills add seven or more offensive linemen between now and training camp.
