Buffalo Bills Departures

Daryl Williams, OG

On Monday morning, the Buffalo Bills were busy trying to create cap space and one of those moves was to release Daryl Williams. He has been a starter the past two years on the offensive line but the cap hit was too much for Williams as a guard. The report by Mike Garafolo did note that there was a chance Williams could return.

Mitchell Trubisky, QB

2022 Team: Pittsburgh Steelers

This is one player that it is not surprising he is not returning as Mitchell Trubisky was expected to be one of the top targets for teams looking for quarterbacks. The former second overall pick found a new home with the Steelers and agreed to a two-year deal.

Harrison Phillips, DT

2022 Team: Minnesota Vikings

One of the reasons the Buffalo Bills added two defensive tackles is because they lost Harrison Phillips, who agreed to a three-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings.

Phillips was a former third round pick by the Buffalo Bills and after an inconsistent start to his career became a key starter in the second half of the season last year.

Levi Wallace, CB

2022 Team: Pittsburgh Steelers

The final player is Levi Wallace who will be joining Mitchell Trubisky in Pittsburgh as he agreed to a two-year deal with the Steelers.

Wallace was an undrafted free agent by Buffalo in 2018 and became a starter midway through his rookie season. While the Buffalo Bills would bring in competition on a yearly basis, Wallace would win that training camp battle and hold the starting job.
