Cornerback appears to be a key position for Buffalo Bills at NFL Combine
Buffalo Bills Draft Target: Andrew Booth Jr.
The first player is Andrew Booth Jr. out of Clemson, who reportedly had a formal meeting on Saturday according to Matt Parrino. He said he thinks Buffalo would be a great place for him to go as it would give him a chance to pick the brains of the other defensive backs.
Booth has been a starter the past two years and finished with 64 total tackles, six tackles for a loss, nine passes defended, and five interceptions. He has good size for the position at 6’0″ and 200 pounds which should allow him to match up well with most wide receivers in the NFL.
When looking at some of the cornerbacks the Buffalo Bills have drafted or added under Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane, they all do a good job in terms of tackling. This is certainly something Andrew Booth Jr. doesn’t shy away from and if he was drafted by Buffalo, he certainly has the talent to step in as a starter Week 1.
