Atlanta Falcons

Another team that is going to be desperately looking for help at wide receiver this offseason is the Atlanta Falcons. Their top receiver from last season, Russell Gage, is set to be a free agent and at this time it is unknown how Calvin Ridley factors into their future.

The Falcons could bring back Gage, who did play well for them, and they still have Kyle Pitts. The fourth overall pick last year is a matchup nightmare as a tight end who plays like a wide receiver.

However, even with Gage and Pitts, the Falcons could be looking for more help at the position. Cole Beasley could step into this offense and play well with a veteran like Matt Ryan. A trade for Beasley though would likely make sense for a team expected to compete for a playoff spot and Atlanta doesn’t look like they will be in that position next year.

In terms of need and opportunity, it would make sense but Atlanta may not want to trade for an older veteran like Beasley.
