Buffalo Bills Trade Target: Danielle Hunter

Another player who is coming off an injury-shortened season is defensive end Danielle Hunter. The Vikings’ top pass rusher was also playing great, with six sacks in seven games, but suffered a torn pectoral that ended his year.

It was certainly disappointing to see considering he missed all of the 2020 season due to a neck injury.

The Vikings are in a similar situation to the Bears with a new general manager and new head coach this offseason. They could find themselves also looking for draft picks to improve the roster and Hunter is one that could likely get a high draft pick back in a trade.

Another potential reason to trade Hunter is that it would free up about $18 million in cap space according to Spotrac.

For the Buffalo Bills, there would certainly be a risk in terms of his injury history but if Danielle Hunter stays healthy, he is a player that can transform this pass rush. A defensive line with Hunter and Greg Rousseau on the other end would greatly improve this group.
