Losing Tre’Davious White for the season

After Josh Allen, cornerback Tre’Davious White is arguably the most important player to the Buffalo Bills. The former All-Pro corner is one of the best at his position and is a big part of what Buffalo does on defense. He is typically lining up across from the opposing team’s best wide receiver and winning that battle more times than not.

On Thanksgiving night, the Buffalo Bills would lose White for the season as he suffered a knee injury against the New Orleans Saints. His absence certainly challenged this secondary, and for the most part Levi Wallace and Dane Jackson did a good job.

However, the Bills didn’t face many high-powered offenses after that game outside of the game against the Bucs and then the game against the Chiefs. Both of those games, the absence of White was noticeable and the Bills desperately needed that top corner to limit those passing attacks.
