2. Kansas City Chiefs

The gap between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills is marginal and these two teams are pretty even. While the Bills did beat the Chiefs earlier in the year, Kansas City has been playing much better, and more consistent football, since that game.

Patrick Mahomes is once again looking like a top quarterback and he matched Allen’s touchdown total with five of his own this past weekend against the Steelers. They were able to hit a number of deep passes as five players had a reception of 20 yards or more against Pittsburgh.

Meanwhile, the defense for the Chiefs is playing much better than they have in years past. Kansas City doesn’t necessarily have to go into games now expecting it to be a shootout and there isn’t as much pressure on Patrick Mahomes and the offense to score points.

The matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs is shaping up to be an excellent team between two of the best in the league and whoever wins should feel good about their chances to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.
