8. San Francisco 49ers

Starting the power rankings is the only team to secure the upset as the San Francisco 49ers beat the Dallas Cowboys 23-17. The 49ers were seemingly in control most of the game as they built a 23-7 lead after three quarters.

However, the Cowboys started a comeback and had a chance to steal a win but time ran out of after a Dak Prescott scramble and San Francisco would advance.

The 49ers have one of the top rushing offenses in the NFL and that was on display against the Cowboys as Elijah Mitchell and Deebo Samuel combined for 168 rushing yards. Their defense is also playing much better lately with Dak Prescott throwing for 254 yards, one week after holding Matthew Stafford to 238 passing yards.

The biggest question is if the 49ers find themselves in a shootout, can Jimmy Garoppolo do enough as a quarterback to keep them in the game? They may find out this weekend against the Green Bay Packers.
